Getting more focused to help you.
I took a break from BloggingGenealogy.com for a while trying to decide what I wanted to do with it.
You see, with my video tutorial subscription service plans on 4YourFamilyStory.com, I was indecisive as to what to do with this blog.
Keep it, or move on? Where did it fit in with my business plans? Or did it even fit at all?
And?

I woke up recently and decided to keep it, but make it more focused.
For you, a cousin hunter. The cousin hunter bunch - as a whole - is who seems to respond to the blog posts the most *by far*.
So no more posts where I point out how to take a blogging idea and bend it for a genealogical society's or for a genealogy professional's blog and their goals.
The tips that I write about will be just for cousin hunters. [Maybe you can then bend it for other blogging goals. I'll leave that up to you.]
And? Now I feel better about that. I can give you all the advice you need on your blogs to catch cousins who can perhaps help you out with your research. [Which I've been very successful at on my personal family history blog, Family Stories.]
And maybe these new cousins will become good friends or something.
Or not.
Oh, and I'll also be incorporating video tutorials into BloggingGenealogy.com. Sometimes I can show you something better than I can describe it with words. And it's quicker, too. [And the ones I post here will be free. However, I've not ruled out making and putting longer in depth tutorials on the video tutorial subscription service. But I'll let you know about what I decide on that when I decide it.]
So, I hope you find the more focused BloggingGenealogy.com more helpful for your blogging pursuits [Read: Catching those cousins.].
